In my previous post, The 11 Forgotten Laws: 1 – The Law of Thinking, I presented the first Law, which can be simply defined as we become what we think about most. The second of the Laws of the Universe is the Law of Supply.
Most are aware of the Law of Supply and Demand, which states that the more we have, the more we want. It is also the basis for raising prices when demand is greater than supply and lowering prices when supply is greater than demand.
In terms of the Laws of the Universe, the Law of Supply tells us that there is an infinite supply of abundance in the Universe for everyone that practices and is in harmony with the Universal Laws. People naturally always want more. An important aspect of mastering this law is in understanding that we deserve our wants. Negative thinking regarding having or getting what you want, only ensures that the Law of Supply will not work for you. You have to believe that you deserve it and understand that wanting more for yourself and your family is natural. Yes, you can have your cake and eat it too! And, you deserve to have it and eat it.
God (or the Universe, if you prefer) is the source of all supply and, therefore, there is never a shortage. There is a never ending supply for all of our needs.
In the book “Working With the Law”, Raymond Holliwell tells the story of a farmer, who worked hard to eek out a meager living. One day, the farmer sees some men inspecting the land beside his. He watches curiously as they study the scum floating on the stream that flows through his land.
A few weeks later, a man offered the farmer a handsome price for his farm and the farmer sold. The new owners struck oil on the farm, while the farmer continued to struggle, work hard and eventually, died poor.
Holliwell’s story illustrates that everything we need is supplied. However, if we don’t learn how to tap into that supply, we remain poor.
“Ask and it shall be given to you,
Seek and you shall find,
Knock and it shall be opened unto you,
For everyone that asketh, receiveth,
And he that seeketh, findeth,
And to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.”
Alter your mindset from poverty-conscious to abundance-conscious and you have mastered the Law of Supply. Look for opportunities – be aware of problems, figure out a solution to that problem, and you may have found your ‘supply’.
In my next post, the third Law of the Universe will be featured. This is the law that most of us are familiar with – the Law of Attraction.
I am interested in your opinions of the 11 Forgotten Laws. Leave me your comments and share this post if you believe it offers value.
Wishing your great success!

The laws worked for me getting me through cancer that I was given 0% chance to beat, in the mean while my business grew. All I had to do is ask.
That is incredible Gary!! You are an inspiration and I congratulate you for beating cancer!!

Hi Wendy,
This is a really interesting series and I absolutely believe in the power of an abundance mindset. I do have a question, though. This is a real question and not meant to be rhetorical or argumentative at all. If this is true, then what does that mean for people who are in countries where they are starving and sick? Does that mean that they are not manifesting properly? I always get stuck with this, so I would really appreciate your feedback. Thanks, Mentor Mama
I must say that the laws were explained in a quite understandable manner which was not only theoretical but also a realistic one as it can be compared with practical life easily. You have touched upon the practical point of view as well as the economical concept.
This truly makes sense. I’ve never been comfortable with the idea that wanting more is NORMAL. I often mix it with greed. The way the story is written and told is just enlightening. Good work!
hi,
i am really touched by reading this post. the law of nature is been shown to us is incredible. i have read many blogs and none have touched me so much. but it is a cruelty of modern world which is vanishing our lands and using lands for business stuffs. i also agree that we do not have abundant supply or i can have as much as i want. we need to fix our demand according to our supply.
thanks
orin
honestly speaking i do not understand what this law says. i just boring boring and just f*** s****blog. i was just told to comment something well in this blog. but what i can say it is blog without a topic
Hi Wendy,
This is absolutely true. I think everything is in the mindset. We normally look outside of what we have to enrich our lives. Where in fact the true richness is already within our grasp. All we need to do is to nurture it and believe that it is there. Brilliant!
The Law of Supply is all about having a good mindset that everything is attainable if we know where to seek for what we want and need. Even we have that supply, yet we do not know how to use it to meet the demand, we will always in end up losing more. We can also compare it to the talent we have, if we don’t recognize it or we don’t know how to you use it for our advantage, someone will make use of it or maybe it will remain undiscovered forever. We should always think about how to make the best of what we have and continue to strive for what we really want.
