This post is similar to my recent post on the Success Mindset vs the Average Mindset, except that it looks at the focus and actions of Average People vs Successful People.

The format of comparing the differences side by side was very popular, so I’ve followed the same format with this post. Continue reading »

Originally, I hadn’t planned on sharing the following two videos on this blog.  They were video taped during a company training meeting.  My intention in sharing these has to do with sharing the valuable leadership training, which can be applied to any business.  I don’t want anyone to think that I am trying to push a business opportunity on them.  That is truly not my intention.

In the videos, Tyler Norton explains his “E under P” theory.  It is this theory that influenced me to decide to share the training with you.  It is all about achieving success while keeping your principles higher than your ego and economy desires. Continue reading »

Recently, Belinda Cunningham implemented a fun and innovated method of recognizing Blogs that you believe offer great value, called the Blog Mastery Award.

This is how Belinda’s Blog Mastery Award works:

Nominate ten Blogs that you feel offer great value to the community and that have mastered the art of Blogging.  List them in your Blog post and include a brief description of each Blog.

Contact these ten individuals and let them know that you have nominated them for a Blog Mastery Award. Continue reading »

I first posted this particular article  in June of this year.  I think that it offers a lot of value in comparing the mindsets of the successful verses the mindsets of your everyday average Joe.  You will recognize some of the points in the table and others may be new concepts to you.  Being able to compare the differences in mindsets side-by-side is very helpful.  Print it out if you like and keep it handy, where you can refer to it often and make sure you are on track to building the success that you desire. Here’s the quick recap (again) of the Laws we’ve covered so far:

  1. The Law of Thinking
  2. The Law of Supply
  3. The Law of Attraction
  4. The Law of Receiving
  5. The Law of Increase
  6. The Law of Compensation
  7. The Law of Non-Resistance

Law number eight is one of my favourites – The Law of Forgiveness. When we feel anger, resentment, and other negative emotions towards someone who has hurt us, we only damage ourselves. Our first reaction to hurt may be getting revenge or paying the person back, but these negative reactions (remember the Law of Non-Resistance) only serve to do more damage to you personally. Harbouring the pain and unforgiveness festers in your psyche and, little by little, you give your power away to the person you are resentful towards. You become the ‘victim’ and victims are powerless. Continue reading »

Glossophobia is defined as ‘speech anxiety’ or public speaking fear.  It’s symptoms include intense anxiety prior to public speaking or simply the thought of having to communicate with a large audience, avoidance of events where you are the center of attention, physical distress, nausea, or feelings of panic.

The fear of public speaking is often quoted as the number one fear that people have.  Overcoming this fear can be a very rewarding, liberating and confidence building experience.  So how do you overcome this fear?   Continue reading »

I’ve heard the failure rate for network marketing/MLM quoted as being 95% so often that I was even using it myself.  I was thinking that the rate should be decreasing with the amount of people flocking to attraction marketing and social media.  I decided I would see if I could find where that rate came from to see if it had, in fact, decreased and … Continue reading »
