Here’s the quick recap of the Laws we’ve covered so far:

  1. The Law of Thinking
  2. The Law of Supply
  3. The Law of Attraction
  4. The Law of Receiving
  5. The Law of Increase
  6. The Law of Compensation

…and that brings us to number seven, the Law of Non-Resistance. At the core of the Law of Non-Resistance is how we react to people and situations. There is a difference between reacting and responding. We react without thinking, usually out of habit or emotion. Responding, on the other hand, requires you to put some thought into it. By responding, you are in harmony with the Law of Non-Resistance. Continue reading »

In the previous five posts, we have looked at the Law of Cause and Effect, the Law of Thinking, the Law of Supply, the Law of Attraction, and the Law of Receiving. Next up is Law number five, the Law of Increase.

The Law of Increase simple states that when you ‘give’, you receive more in return. For example, the more you invest in your business, the more it grows.

Like all of the Laws, the Law of Increase applies to every aspect of your life, not just money and business. The more you invest in your personal growth, the better you become and the higher your potential becomes. The more you invest in your relationships, the more you get out of those relationships. The Laws of Increase deals with increasing and improving every aspect of your life. Continue reading »

As a quick recap, my last few posts talked about the 11 Forgotten Laws of the Universe and the Law of Cause and Effect, the Law of Thinking, the Law of Supply and the Law of Attraction. In this post we look the Law of Receiving.

It could be said that the Law of Receiving is giving, as the Law states in order to receive, you must first give. You can give time, effort, money, value, services, etc. It’s not as easy as it seems though. There are rules to giving. You must selflessly give without the expectation of receiving , you must give to a worthy cause or person, and you must give on a consistent basis. If you are giving solely for the purpose of receiving what you want, the Laws will not work for you. Continue reading »

In my previous posts, we defined the Law of Thinking – We become what we think about most, and The Law of Supply – We naturally want more and the Universe has an infinite supply of abundance. In this post we look at the Law of Attraction.

The Law of Attraction states that we attract or manifest into our lives that which we think and feel most. The Law of Attraction is based on your ‘vibration’. Our feelings and emotions have a vibration that we emit to the Universe. The Universe uses this vibration to attract more of that vibrational tone into your life. If you are happy and fulfilled, you send out a higher vibrational frequency . If you are depressed or worried about your finances, you emit that vibration and more of that vibration is manifested into your life.

If you use affirmations to try to change your focus, they won’t work if you don’t genuinely FEEL them. If you are feeling financially desperate, you will attract more of the same to reinforce what you are feeling. Continue reading »

In my previous post, The 11 Forgotten Laws: 1 – The Law of Thinking, I presented the first Law, which can be simply defined as we become what we think about most. The second of the Laws of the Universe is the Law of Supply.

Most are aware of the Law of Supply and Demand, which states that the more we have, the more we want. It is also the basis for raising prices when demand is greater than supply and lowering prices when supply is greater than demand.

In terms of the Laws of the Universe, the Law of Supply tells us that there is an infinite supply of abundance in the Universe for everyone that practices and is in harmony with the Universal Laws. People naturally always want more. An important aspect of mastering this law is in understanding that we deserve our wants. Negative thinking regarding having or getting what you want, only ensures that the Law of Supply will not work for you. You have to believe that Continue reading »

In my previous post, The 11 Forgotten Laws, I introduced the 11 Laws of the Universe and talked about the Law of Cause and Effect, which states that every cause has an effect and every effect has a cause.

The first of the 11 Forgotten Laws of the Universe is the Law of Thinking which states that your dominant thoughts are reflected in the external world – your reality. It is just as the old proverb states, “As a man thinketh, so is he.”

Mastering the Law of Thinking requires taking disciplined control over your conscious thoughts. Running below the surface of your conscious thoughts are your ‘stream of consicousness‘ thoughts, which are part of the subconscious mind. Practiced control over your conscious thoughts reprograms your stream of consciousness thoughts and, ultimately, your subconscious mind. By controlling your dominant thoughts, you can: Continue reading »

The movie “The Secret” revealed how to use the Law of Attraction to attract your desires to you. Millions of people around the globe tuned in and began to practice the techniques presented in the movie. Then people began to complain that the methods didn’t work or that they didn’t work to the extent that people wanted them to.

There is good reason that those that put their heart and soul into it, didn’t get the results that they were hoping for. The Secret focused on the Law of Attraction, but the Law of Attraction is only part of the equation. Continue reading »

Previously I wrote a post about identifying self-limiting beliefs and since that time I’ve had an incredible experience in identifying the true beliefs that are holding me back.  So, I had to revisit the topic to share with you an amazing technique called EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique.

I attended a webinar hosted by my friend Rebecca Johnson of www.bethechangechangetheworld.com.  Rebecca is an EFT coach and during the webinar she walked us through a couple of EFT sessions using some of the webinar guests as volunteers.  I followed along in the exercises, changing some of the verbiage to fit my personal situation and I was amazed at how easily I was able to tap in to my inner beliefs and really identify the true reasons that I am holding myself back. Continue reading »

A self-limiting belief is a negative self-perception or an outdated program in our minds that holds us back from attaining what we really want in life.  These beliefs may have been formed by societal beliefs, peer influence or parental influence.  That doesn’t mean that our parents consciously implanted limiting beliefs in us.  They subconsciously pass on their own limiting beliefs and add new ones in an attempt to protect us from let down and defeat.

Changing those limiting beliefs can be done through self-affirmations and visualizations.  Once identified, we can consciously reprogram our beliefs by reaffirming their positive opposites.  But, how do we identify what is holding us back?

Our limiting beliefs reside in our subconscious mind.  We are not aware, on a conscious level, of some of these beliefs and identifying them requires a conscious effort in being critically aware of our thoughts, speech patterns and actions.  Listen to your ‘inner voice’. Continue reading »
